Manimal Post is a beautifully designed space with three airy yet comfortable suites overlooking bustling Swan Street. With Edit, Grade and Online suites fully set up for in-house sessions or remote client presentations.  We are a streamlined, one-stop post shop offering a fast and professional post production experience. From high-end commercials and long form storytelling to online content videos and social media deliverables, as well as motion design, colour grading, VFX, 3D and compositing, Manimal can do it all. 

Between producers Kate and Hannah, operators Ryan and Emily, plus an amazing team of trusted freelance collaborators, Manimal have more flexibility than ever. It’s also a pretty sweet place to drop in for a chat and a cheeky drink. Dogs are always welcome.

The Team

Ryan Brett - Edit/Colour/VFX

Owner/Operator Ryan Brett has been a post pro of the advertising and film industries since 2003 in a variety of capacities. With a passion for editing and story telling, a meticulous, bordering on obsessive, attention to detail, and vast experience as an online operator and colourist, Ryan Brett can do it all, but also loves working as part of a team of post specialists. He is internationally represented for his work as a colourist and is now a full Member of the Colorist Society International (CSI).

Ryan and Kate have an energetic Koolie pup called Fonzie who is a very good boi.

Emily Robb - Editor

Offline Editor Emily Robb has been cutting TVCs, music videos and short films for 7 years at numerous post houses and agencies around Melbourne. Directors love her for her skilled storytelling, sharp comedy edits, fast turnarounds, and her laid-back and friendly nature. Manimal loves her for her no-fuss approach to projects, her super techy brain, and her hilarious stories. When Emily isn’t in the edit suite you’ll find her gardening with her sausage dog, Saffy by her side.

Kate Reynolds - Producer

Owner/Producer Kate Reynolds has 17 years’ experience in audio and post production. She’s one of those producers that knows everyone and everything, and if she doesn’t know, she’ll find out. Kate also runs the Melbourne Women in Post group–a community of like-minded post and production professionals who gather to share industry insights and a few drinks. Kate is the chief trainer of Fonzie, the indoor-plant mama at Manimal, and can also mix a wicked cocktail.

Hannah Byrnand - Producer

Hannah Byrnand started out in the Film & TV industry in the early 2000s, and has been working in advertising production and post since 2005. With post credentials as a Facilities Manager, Design Producer, and 3D/VFX producer, Hannah is an all-rounder skilled at managing any project at a senior level. She has a naughty staffy x whippet called Felix who isn’t allowed in the office anymore. Don’t ask.
